Dakota AG Innovations LLC began marketing the product, Dakota Shine, in the fall of 2002, to help equipment dealers restore the color, luster and value of their used and rental equipment. Dakota Shine is designed for those who have experienced problems with the fading and oxidizing of the paint, decals and plastic components on their equipment. It can restore those surfaces to within 98 percent of the original color, and last as long as the original paint did under comparable conditions. What makes it different than other products, is that it works with pigments in the surface and restores them to their original state.
